Radio Controlled Aircraft
The purpose of this course is to help you make your own UAVs. You will be provided with the kits and our engineers will give you the knowledge to develop the projects from scratch. The majority of your time in the course will be spent on hands-on activities.
In this training program, you’ll develop two UAV projects that will get you started in this exciting field. Here’s what you’ll learn:
Basics of aviation systems
How to develop a UAV
How to mount UAV components
How to assemble and test UAV systems
Fixed and rotary wing air vehicles
Fabrication of UAV frames
Installation and wiring of electrical components
Assembly and troubleshooting of avionics components
Embedded systems and microcontroller programming
Multiple testing of aircraft performance
Brushless DC Motor
Electronic Speed Controller
Quadrotor Control Board
Brushless DC Motors
Propellers (Pushers and Pullers)
Electronic Speed Controllers
Power Distribution Board
Flash tool to burn firmware into Quadrotor control board
All the above components would be provided during the program to participants in groups of 5 but would be taken back at the end. This is being done to reduce the cost of the program and make it affordable for students who do not want to buy the take-home kit.
Take-home kit can be bought by paying an additional amount at the venue. It will consist of all the above items excluding transmitter and receiver. One set of common electronic components in the above kits will be provided in Take-home kit.
#Working tools will be taken back after the program
The common electronic components in the kits for RC Aircraft will be reused from the Quadrotor.
