SCARA - Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm is a concept developed in the late 20th century to replicate the complicated motions of the human hand with the help of a mechanical assembly. SCARA finds its use in carrying out the repetitive tasks in the Industry like, packaging, bottling, assembly, manufacturing etc. This workshop by AerotriX will introduce the participants to the functioning, design and simulation of SCARA and also help them understand the industrial procedure to develop SCARA for a specific task.

  2. Design of SCARA - Gain hands-on experience by

    • Handling advanced problems in programming language
    • Designing an Industrial Robotic Arm for an objective
    • Developing the mathematical framework for your design
    • Transforming the mathematical framework into program
    • Simulating the working of the model theoretically using software
    • Improving the mathematical modelling with the help of simulation results
    • Understanding the practical constraints in developing industry based solutions

  3. Brainstorming Session - Assignment to design, model and simulate an Industrial Robotic Arm.
